...in Bergen-Belsen under Nazi dominion left the room stunned, silent, and undoubtedly individually and collectively more resolved than ever to support the forces of good against evil in our world.  For me, the pain in my recently broken arm was silenced, and I’ve been thankful ever since for Sarah’s unintentional reminder of life’s real priorities and true threats.

I was touched by our fall special speaker event because of its timing in our geopolitical calendar.  The U.N. hosted tyrants, dictators and generally anti-American voices the same week that we were reminded by this plain spoken Holocaust survivor of the danger in absolute, fascist power.  The very day that a modern Hitler sought to consolidate credibility among our enemies, some of whom are within our borders, Sarah literally begged that we “never forget”, that we defeat Islamofascism before history repeats.  Several hundred patriots heard Sarah; several million would be Jihadists heard dirty-leisure-suit boy.  Will the West wake up to avert a European, then American Holocaust?

Here’s a hint….the U.N. just decided to delay even considering further non-military pressure on Iran until November.  Folks....buy plenty of ammo….they’re coming.

On the home front, the fantasy world of Democrats continues:  John Edwards declares that soon every black man will be either be dead or in prison, while Hillary wants to give every of the 4 million babies born in the good ol’ U.S. of A. a $5,000 “baby bond”.  Let me connect the dots for you.  Ms. Clinton says that the 20 billion dollar entitlement will give 18 year olds who finish high school the ability to “access it to go to college or maybe they will be able to make that down payment on their first home.”  John Edwards says black males are a lost cause, which is sad given a failed 40 year experiment called “the war on poverty”.  As the sociologists know all the  Head Start, WIC, housing, food subsidy and other programs to help only perpetuate mediocrity.  Like a cultural tsunami, fatherless families (70% at latest report) and rap’s celebration of all sorts of depravity, a generation will be swept away to prison or early death until and unless they are forced to earn some sefl esteem.  Yet, like dinosaurs frozen in time, Democratic thought leaders rely on the politics of entitlement, race-pandering, with every intention to walk away from the time tested ideals which steer people towards prosperity and health and away from the morgue or prison.  Last time I checked, Thomas Sowell, Clarence Thomas, Star Parker, Bill Cosby, and Juan Williams (I don’t celebrate conservatives exclusively!) were alive and not in prison striped jumpsuits.  Nor did they as best I can tell benefit from Uncle Sam and Aunt Hillary’s benevolence.  The vote bribing is as glaringly transparent as Hillary’s laugh is shrieking and sinister.  I thought we killed the wicked witch of the West, no? 

Finally, the SCHIPS expansion of socialized healthcare for Americans continues to gain steam, with pleas for compassion aimed at mean old W, all in the name of “the children”.  Sorry, but if it’s ok that SCHIPS  provide health care for families making over 80 grand, then it’s time we start PAINTCHIPS (car insurance for the same group), POTATOCHIPS (food insurance so “the (increasingly obese) children”), TORTILLACHIPS (for illegal aliens siesta snack), and COWCHIPS (for farm families).  I say HORSE POOP.  It’s a slippery slope and we’re on a collision course for communism, economic and cultural Armageddon.
