Oodles of Noodles

noodlesZero calorie spaghetti! Yes, that’s right, oodles of zero-calorie noodles. Glucomannan, a zero-calorie, heart healthy fiber made from tubers, makes an excellent alternative to conventional noodles. It is a translucent, delicate, and relatively tasteless noodle, which allows it to take on the flavor of whatever spices or sauces are added to it. Because the tubers absorb water and become large, you feel fuller, quicker. And best of all, it is a soluble fiber, which slows the digestion of sugar, so it is helpful in the treatment of various illnesses, including diabetes.

Check out Randy’s podcast on this subject.

calorie free, glucomannan, healthy, noodles, tuber
